For Tbilisi dwellers and foreign visitors, the best solution for cooling and entertainment on hot summer season is visiting aqua centers and swimming pools. Research and consulting group PRMC got interested what are the rates and quality of the leisure and entertainment centers which are offered to customers.  In the mentioned opinion poll seven Tbilisi-based centers took part. Results of the poll area listed below: 

Multi-functional aqua park “Gino Paradise”,  which represents sport and wellness complex,  is comprised of 9 swimming pools, extreme water attractions, wellness and spa halls in the VIP zone, private garden for relaxation, fitness, Gino Academy of Swimming, hotel  and private coast line at Tbilisi Sea.

“Gino Paradise” is capable of hosting up to 6000 visitors on the daily basis all year around.

Aqua park is available for visitors every day beginning from 10 am till 10 pm.

Out of nine swimming pools, three of them are aimed for children, including large and small-sized pools with artificial waves, closed and open relaxation pools, “wild river” and pools on Tbilisi Sea coast line.

Extreme and adrenaline lovers will be pleased to know, that “Gino Paradise” offers more than 500 water attractions to them including the biggest tobbogan in Eastern Europe, which is 31 meters in height as well as 6 various sliders. In the open space, small-sized sliders are also available for children, attraction for extreme sport lovers - “Tanzania” and Sand Volleyball Square.

“Gino Paradise” also operates the biggest wellness center in Eastern Europe, which unites 17 separate saunas and spa zones, where you can also enjoy “Turkish Hammam”. In Georgia, “Gino Paradise” exclusively offers “CryoSauna” where natural snow flakes are produced.

“Gino Paradise” has wellness, spa and fitness zones, separate dressing rooms for aqua park and 74 showers. In total, during the summer season - 2660 personal closets and during the winter season - 1980 closets are available for visitors. All of them are equipped with electric lock.

There are 12 food facilities in the aqua park including lounges, restaurants, bars and fast food points, which offer a variety of Georgian and European meals to the customers.

“Gino Paradise” can also offer fishing site to customers. On the small-sized lake which is located on the territory of Aqua Park, customer can enjoy fishing and will later be served with the fish that was personally caught by him/her.

For those who smoke, “Gino paradise” offers bar on the terrace. The smoking zone is also available near the pool with artificial waves.

Aqua park offers private parking lot to customers, where 800 vehicles can park at a time.

Only those can enter the territory who have special permit and wear electric wrist band.

“Gino Paradise” can also offer a private beach on Tbilisi Sea which is well-groomed and safe, equipped with chaise-longues, showers and changing rooms to customers as well as two food facilities located on the beach. The beach has a private entrance where anyone can enjoy the mentioned services for 7 GEL.

During work days of the week, visit to Gino Paradise costs 30 GEL while this price on weekends amounts to 40 GEL. Children under 6 years are free of charge at “Gino Paradise”.

The price enables customer to enjoy all services of the aqua park, including 9 pools and all attractions.

“Gino Paradise” can also offer family packages, offering decreased prices to customers:

ü  2+1  - 75 GEL (instead of 90 GEL

ü  2+2 – 90 GEL   (instead of 120 GEL)

ü  2+3 – 105 GEL (instead of 150 GEL)

ü  2+4 – 120 GEL  (instead of 180 GEL)

“Arena” LTD offers 2 swimming pools to customers with closed roof  all year around. There are 7 changing rooms and 36 showers in the complex out of which, 10 is aimed for women and 2 for children. “Arena” opens at 7 am and operates till 11 pm during work days of the week. The complex finishes work at 9 pm on Saturdays and at 7 pm on Sundays.

“Arena” has no water attractions, however there are 2 dry and 1 steam saunas on the territory, as well as terrace with chaise-longues for taking sun baths, fitness and sport games hall, swimming pool area, beauty salon, solarium, sport-café, sportswear shop and hotel with 16 rooms. Customers can also train at the facility in boxing, karate, shooting, mountain climbing and take private or group sessions for learning to swim.

There are two food facilities located in the complex “Arena” and one smoking zone.

“Arena” can host up to 250 people at a time and up to 700 people during the work hours.

There is a parking lot on the territory of Arena, where 140 vehicles can be parked.

The prices of the “Arena” complex varies according to services. Single visit to the pool and fitness club costs 30 GEL, 8 visits- 165 GEL, 10 visits – 200 GEL and the so called “Golden Card” -1000 GEL. Single visit for children from 6 to 12 years, costs 20 GEL. 

“Vake” swimming pool is open all year around. From Monday to Friday swimming pool opens at 7 am and closes at 11 pm. During the weekend work hours start at 8 am and end at 10 pm.

Vake Swimming Pool is able to host up to 300 visitors on the daily basis.

There are two swimming pools on the territory with closed roof, which are aimed for adults and children. There are more than 100 showers and 8 changing rooms with personal closets. The complex can also offer jacuzzi, steam and Finish saunas, ping-pong area, terrace, gym, cosmetology room and sports shop. Customers can also enjoy yoga, aerobics, diving, boxing and other services.

Customers will be allowed on the venue only with special wrist bands.

There is one café and one bar which operate on the territory of Vake Swimming Pool. Smoking is only allowed on the territory of terrace which is located near to foyer.  

Parking lot is also offered to the customers where 150 vehicles can park at a time.

On working days, single visit for the couple costs 70 GEL, while this price amounts to 80 GEL during weekend. In case of membership the prices vary from 180 to 600 GEL and depends on the service.

“Krtsanisi Residence Pool” is open only in summer season, from 9 am  to 7 pm. The complex unites one swimming pool and gym. The swimming pool has three changing rooms and 8 showers.

There is one food facility located on the venue, 5 smoking zones and parking lot with a space to park 100 vehicles at a time.

The complex can host 100 visitors at a time.

On working days, single visit costs 35 GEL, while on weekend cost of the visit is 45 GEL.

There are 5 swimming pools in “Euro Park” with water attractions and VIP zone. There is one food facility located at the sire and two smoking zones.

“Euro Park” has a parking lot with a space to park 80 vehicles at a time.

The facility is open from 10 am to 8 pm. Single visit during the working days, amounts to 30 GEL, while on weekends the price for single visit is 40 GEL. Customers can also purchase special package throughout the season which offers special prices.

“Sport Time” welcomes visitors from 7 am to 10 pm. The complex is comprised of one swimming pool with closed roof, one poll with open roof and another one with shallow water. There are 2 separate changing rooms for men and women and 24 showers. The facility is able to host 600 visitors at a time.

“Sport Times” has no extreme water attractions, however it can offer various services to customers, including: aerobics, fitness, massage, dry sauna, study courses for swimming, Zumba, Latin-American dances and etc.

There is an open café on the territory of the complex, restaurant with closed roof and hotel. The smoking is allowed on parking, pool and open café venues.

The complex has a space to provide parking for 100 vehicles at a time.

Single visit to closed and open pools will cost 20 GEL on working days, while this price amounts to 25 GEL on weekends. The special permit costs 5 GEL. Special voucher and monthly permit can also be purchased which includes special prices.

“Gldani-Nadzaladevi Complex, Sport Center” is open all year around and is comprised of 3 pools with closed roof aimed for children from 3 to 6 years, 6 to 12 years and for customers from 13 and older. There are 6 changing rooms and same amount of showers. The services of the center also include: water-polo, fitness, aqua aerobics, massage, thermal baths, artistic gymnastics and two saunas.

The center operates from 7 am till 11 pm from Monday to Saturday and from 9 am till 10 pm on Sundays. The complex is capable of hosting up to 150 visitors at a time.

There is one food facility on the territory of the center and parking lot where 50 vehicles can park at a time. There are no smoking zones in the facility.

Single visit to “Gldani-Nadzaladevi Complex, Sport Center” is 25 GEL. Monthly permit for swimming varies in accordance with the age category of the customer from 70 to 120 GEL. Center also offers voucher system with special prices.
