Robert Mugabe, Zimbabwe's first post-independence leader, has died aged 95.

His family confirmed his death to the BBC. Mr Mugabe had been receiving treatment in a hospital in Singapore since April.

He was ousted in a military coup in 2017 after 37 years in power.

Mr Mugabe's early years were praised for broadening access to health and education for the black majority - but his later years were marked by rights abuses and corruption.

He won Zimbabwe's first election after it secured independence from the UK, becoming prime minister in 1980.

He abolished the office in 1987, becoming president instead.

His successor, Emmerson Mnangagwa, expressed his "utmost sadness", calling Mr Mugabe "an icon of liberation".

Mr Mnangagwa had been Mr Mugabe's deputy before replacing him.

Who was Robert Mugabe?

Mr Mugabe was born on 21 February 1924 in what was then Rhodesia - a British colony, run by its white minority.

He was imprisoned for more than a decade without trial after criticising the government of Rhodesia in 1964.

n 1973, while still in prison, he was chosen as president of the Zimbabwe African National Union (Zanu), of which he was a founding member.

Once released, he headed to Mozambique, from where he directed guerrilla raids into Rhodesia. But he was also seen as a skilled negotiator.

Political agreements to end the crisis resulted in the new independent Republic of Zimbabwe.

With his high profile in the independence movement, Mr Mugabe secured an overwhelming victory in the republic's first election.

But over his decades in power, international perceptions soured, with an increasing number of critics portraying Mr Mugabe as a kind of dictator.

In 2000, facing serious political opposition for the first time, he seized white-owned farms to resettle black farmers, causing economic disruption but boosting his popularity among supporters.

Around the same time, pro-Mugabe militias used violence to influence political outcomes. In 2008, when he lost the first round of the presidential election, attacks on the opposition resulted in his rival pulling out of the contest.

He famously declared that only god could remove him from office.

He was forced into sharing power in 2009 amid economic collapse, installing rival Morgan Tsvangirai as prime minister.

But in 2017, amid concerns that he was grooming his wife Grace as his successor, the army - his long-time ally - turned against the president and forced him to step down.

What has the reaction been?

Deputy Information Minister Energy Mutodi, of Mr Mugabe's Zanu-PF party, told the BBC the party was "very much saddened" by his death.

"As a government, we are very much with the family members of the Mugabe family," he said.

"He was a principled man: he could not change easily over his beliefs. He's a man who believed himself, he's a man who believed in what he did and he is a man who was very assertive in whatever he said.

"This was a good man."

Not everyone agreed, however.

Zimbabwean Senator David Coltart, who was once labelled "an enemy of the state" by Mr Mugabe, said his legacy was marred by his adherence to violence as a political tool.

"He was always committed to violence, going all the way back to the 1960s... he was no Martin Luther King," he told the BBC World Service. "He never changed in that regard."

But he acknowledged that there was another side to Robert Mugabe - "a man who indeed had a great passion for education - and I think he mellowed in his later years.

"There's a lot of affection towards him, because we must never forget that he was the person primarily responsible for ending oppressive white minority rule."

The government of neighbouring South Africa tweeted its condolences, labelling Mr Mugabe "a fearless pan-Africanist liberation fighter".

The BBC's Shingai Nyoka, in the capital Harare, said Mr Mugabe was likely to be remembered for his early achievements.

In his later years, people had called him all sorts of names, but now is probably the time when Zimbabweans will think back to his 37 years in power, she said.

There's a saying here - that whoever dies becomes a hero, and we're likely to see that now, our correspondent adds.

certainly like your web-site but you have fun things to do in downtown houston - regilexikon.com,
test the spelling on several of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling issues and I to
find it very troublesome to tell the truth on the other hand I'll surely come
again again.

I have been surfing on-line greater than three hours
these days, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It is pretty value sufficient for me. In my opinion, if all website owners
and bloggers made excellent content as you did,
the web will probably be a lot more helpful than ever
before.

While borrower continues reducing his obligation through periodical repayments, credit
history automatically improves. Headlines say that nations are mired in debts, and editorials criticize the
"irresponsible borrowers", "reckless lenders" and even today's "consumerist culture" is
sometimes held responsible for it. You can find many loans options with traditional lenders that are available at your
place.

In the 1920's uncontrolled epileptics were put on the ketogenic (60% fat) diet, a practice that is once again popular in medical circles.
Still, Phinney forged on, conducting studies that,
for example, showed that liquid ketogenic diets with adequate nutrients wouldn’t cause heart problems.

Still, as the buzz around keto intensified, the claims became grander and more outlandish.
"It’s much more complicated than ‘starve your cancer of sugar’," he says.
"Short-term carb restriction can cause 3-4kg of almost immediate water loss," says Galpin. What Foods Can You Eat
on a Vegetarian Keto Diet? Smaller amounts of collagen are found
in foods like grass-fed beef and salmon. The keto diet has been proven effective by the thousands of people who’ve
lost incredible amounts of weight by following it.
Following Ferriss’s endorsement, the number of people searching for the keto
diet immediately doubled and continued to trend upward as other lifestyle gurus, such as Dave Asprey and Mark Sisson, jumped aboard.

You were supposed to consult a physician, who would ensure that you were getting
the necessary vitamins and minerals - but most people didn’t bother.

Ever wondered how Sweet Relief CBD helps
relieve body pain? TRPV1 creates that sort of burning sensation pain you might feel from something like nerve damage.
The best way to go about it is to select a CBD product that you like
and speak with your doctor about the best dosage. As an indoor
cycling instructor and fitness fanatic, I was less than enthused
when my doctor advised a three-month break from my typical sweat
sessions. Just talk to your doctor first, OK? It's also the most efficient way to
experience the effects of the cannabinoid. The effects of the oil contain a prolonged list of frequently optimistic results.
This leaves broad spectrum or full spectrum CBD oil.

Full-spectrum CBD products are full of natural terpenes, flavonoids,
fatty acids, and cannabinoids, including THC. This means
that there are no other cannabinoid strains (including THC), terpenes, oils, waxes, and chlorophyll in the end product.
The amount of CBD you should take depends
on several factors, including weight, the condition you are trying to treat,
and the oil's strength. We need people who are hard working and take initiative.
CBD isolate is great for those who may not need all of the
benefits of full-spectrum or broad-spectrum CBD.

CBD oil with less than 0.3% THC by dry weight (the psychoactive compound in cannabis plant)
is unlikely to appear on a drug test. Another review suggests that combining THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD can help treat PTSD symptoms.
But the EarthMed CBD Gummies Review oil drops derived from hemp with less than 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol
are considered THC-free. Simply put, full spectrum CBD oil contains THC as well as all of the other pant
constituents found in the hemp plant whereas broad spectrum CBD oil has been completely stripped
of all THC. While CBD and THC are both compounds found in hemp extract and marijuana
plants, THC is the compound that leads to the psychoactive effects of marijuana.

It is essential to check the local rules and state medical
marijuana laws before sending CBD oil in the mail. It is also essential to follow the recommended serving size on the product label
and avoid taking more than the recommended amount. This will let you adjust your serving size to your liking.

We would love to have candidates who will stay for a whole
semester or even a year, if possible.
