გურამ თუშიშვილი მსოფლიო ჩემპიონია. თუშიშვილმა ბაქოში მიმდინარე მსოფლიო ჩემპიონატის ფინალამდე (+100 კგ.) ოთხი ბრძოლა მოიგო. დღის პირველ შეხვედრაში მან რუმინელი დანიელ ნატეა დაამარცხა, მეორე დაპირისპირებაში კი, უკრაინელ იაკივ ხამოს აჯობა.

 

 

„დრამატული გამოვიდა მეოთხედფინალი, რომელშიც გურამი ჰოლანდიელ როი მაიერს შეხვდა. თუშიშვილმა ორთაბრძოლა დამატებით დროში შესრულებული გდებით მოიგო.

 

 

ტურნირის ნახევარფინალში ქართველი სპორტსმენი მონღოლ დურენბაიარ ულზიბაიარს შეხვდა, რომელიც ბრძოლის დაწყებიდან სამ წუთში იპონით დაამარცხა.

 

 

ფინალურ შეხვედრაში გურამ თუშიშვილი უშანგი კოკაურს შეხვდა, რომელიც მასპინძელი აზერბაიჯანის სახელით ასპარეზობდა. აქამდე სპორტსმენები ერთმანეთს ორჯერ შეხვედროდნენ (ბაქო 2017; ზაგრები 2018) და ორივე დაპირისპირება გურამ თუშიშვილის გამარჯვებით დასრულდა.

 

 

ფინალური ბრძოლა დაძაბული გამოდგა. ბრძოლის დასრულებამდე წუთითა და ათი წამით ადრე ვაზაარი კოკაურმა მოიპოვა, მაგრამ მსაჯებმა გაუუქმეს. დაპირისპირების ძირითადი დროის დასრულებამდე ოთხი წამი რჩებოდა, როდესაც თუშიშვილმა კარგი ჩავლება აიღო, ილეთი შეასრულა და გამარჯვება იპონით მოიპოვა.

 

 

ეს მიმდინარე მსოფლიო ჩემპიონატზე, საქართველოს ნაკრებისთვის პირველი ოქროს მედალი იყო. ბრინჯაოს მედალი ტურნირის პირველ დღეს ამირან პაპინაშვილმა აიღო, ხოლო ვერცხლს კი ნაკრების კაპიტანი, ვარლამ ლიპარტელიანი დაეუფლა", იტყობინება საზოგადოებრივი მაუწყებელი.
