საქართველოში ეს არის პირველი პრეცედენტი, როდესაც ექსპერტიზის რეგიონული ლაბორატორიების აკრედიტაცია ხორციელდება საერთაშორისო სტანდარტის - ISO17025:2017-ის მოთხოვნების შესაბამისად.

 

 

აკრედიტაციის მოსაპოვებლად საექსპერტო-კრიმინალისტიკურ დეპარტამენტში დამტკიცდა მეთოდური სახელმძღვანელოები, სტანდარტული სამოქმედო და ადმინისტრაციული პროცედურები, ასევე, ამავე დეპარტამენტის დაქტილოსკოპიური ექსპერტიზის რეგიონული ლაბორატორიის ექსპერტებმა ამერიკული აკრედიტირებული კომპანიების (CTS, RS&A) მიერ მოწოდებული ტესტებით გაიარეს საერთაშორისო პროფესიული ტესტირება. აღნიშნული ტესტებით ხდება ამერიკელი და ევროპელი ექსპერტების კვალიფიკაციის შემოწმება და დადასტურება.
