ვაშინგტონში გუშინდელი ინტენსიური შეხვედრების შემდეგ საქართველოს პრემიერ-მინისტრი ირაკლი ღარიბაშვილი დღეს სენატორ ჯონ მაკკეინს შეხვდა.

 


შეხვედრაზე საუბარი ორ ქვეყანას შორის სავაჭრო-ეკონომიკურ ურთიერთობებს, ასევე ევროკავშირთან ასოცირებისა და თავისუფალი ვაჭრობის შესახებ ხელშეკრულების ხელმოწერის პერსპეტქივებს შეეხო.

 

 

მხარეებმა საქართველო-აშშ-ის ორმხრივი ურთიერთობების გაღრმავებასა და სამომავლო თანამშრომლობის საკითხებზე ისაუბრეს. სენატორი საქართველოს ოკუპირებული რეგიონების გასწვრივ ე.წ ბორდერიზაცის პროცესით დაინტერესდა.

 


მაკკეინთან პრემიერის ეს რიგით მეორე შეხვედრაა. პირველად ირაკლი ღარიბაშვილი მას დავოსის ეკონომიკური ფორუმის ფარგლებში შვეიცარიაში, ამა წლის იანვარში შეხვდა.
