საქართველოს თავდაცვის მინისტრი ჯუანშერ ბურჭულაძე საქართველოში უკრაინის საგანგებო და სრულუფლებიან ელჩს, იგორ დოლგოვს შეხვდა. თავდაცვის მინისტრმა უკრაინულ მხარეს საქართველოს ტერიტორიული მთლიანობისა და სუვერენიტეტის მხარდაჭერისთვის მადლობა გადაუხადა. შეხვედრაზე საუბარი შეეხო შავი ზღვის რეგიონის უსაფრთხოების საკითხებსა და არსებულ გამოწვევებს.

უკრაინელ დიპლომატთან საუბრისას განსაკუთრებული ყურადღება დაეთმო საქართველოს დამოუკიდებლობის დღესთან დაკავშირებით უკრაინის თავდაცვის მინისტრის დაგეგმილ ვიზიტს. შეხვედრაზე თავდაცვისა და უსაფრთხოების სფეროში თანამშრომლობის საკითხებიც განიხილეს. ყურადღება გამახვილდა საერთაშორისო სწავლებებში მონაწილეობის მნიშვნელობაზე, ასევე სამხედრო განათლებისა და დაჭრილი სამხედროების რეაბილიტაციის კუთხით თანამშრომლობის საკითხებზე.

შეხვედრას უკრაინის სამხედრო ატაშე საქართველოში, პოლკოვნიკი ალექსანდრ ჰურაკი დაესწრო.
